RUTH HELEN BILLUPS PLYMALE, 87 years young, of Ceredo, W.Va., went to be with Jesus on June 29, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday July 3, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Ceredo. Visitation will be Sunday evening at First Baptist Church of Ceredo from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Born and raised in Ceredo, Ruth was the daughter of the late John Jewel Billups, Sr. and Corrine Gabbert Billups. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Eugene Plymale, her twin sister, Lou Ellen Frazier and brother-in-law, P. D. Frazier, her brother, John Jewel Billups, Jr., and her grandson, Brett Michael Adkins. She is survived by her daughters, Mindy Napier and Julie Adkins (Greg), her grandchildren whom she adored, Kyle Adkins, T.J. Adkins and Kristen Kozy (Daniel), many nieces and nephews, a very special sister-in-law, Roma Gail Billups, and her grand-puppies, Lucky and Baloo. Ruth's favorite pastime was spending time with her family, but first and foremost she loved her Lord and spent her life serving Him. She was the organist at First Baptist Ceredo for 40+ years. Things she also loved and enjoyed are golf, the C-K Alumni Band, and Marshall University football. She will be deeply missed and our lives will never be the same without her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Huntington, or First Baptist Church of Ceredo - Shoe Ministries or Crafters for Christ. Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova is assisting the family with the arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rollinsfh.com.
