| | | Russell Carl Eastham, 60, of Kenova, WV died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Born December 6, 1951 in Wayne County, WV he was the son of the late Russell and Bernice Irene Burt Eastham. Russ began his career at WLKY TV and WOWK TV having earned his 1st class FCC License. He retired from Marathon Petroleum as a No. 1 chemical operator. Russ was a member of Kenova United Methodist Church and also loved attending Torah Class every Saturday at Christ Temple Church. He was a member of Buena Vista Lodge No. 60 AF & AM, Whites Creek, whose members will conduct graveside rites. In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Adkins and his father-in-law, Auvil Cole. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Sandra Cole Eastham; one son, Rusty Eastham, Jr. of Kenova; one daughter and son-in-law, Nickie and Bryan Littlejohn of Huntington; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Dottie and Charles Cyrus, Janet and Bill Janes and Patsy and Brady Gaunt; his mother-in-law, Joanne Cole; his sister-in-law, Wanda Napier and her husband, Ed; his brother-in-law, Dan Cole and his wife, Kim and brother-in-law, Bobby Adkins; his two constant companions, José and Roxie and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Kenova United Methodist Church. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jim Richards officiating and Alan Spitz assisting. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gratefully Grafted Ministries, P.O.
