AGE:102 RESIDENCE: Eighty year resident of Beacon, New York OCCUPATION/MEMBERSHIP: Manufacturing Aviator Hat Factory Beacon Member of Beulah Baptist Church Wappingers Falls, New York DIED (WHEN, WHERE): Thursday August 21, 2008 St. Lukes Cornwall Hospital Newburgh Campus Newburgh, New York DATE OF BIRTH & PLACE: November 24, 1905 Orangeburg, South Carolina PARENTS: The late Lonnie Spigner and Hattie Jenkins SURVIVORS: Three sons, Willie Lee Reed and Lonnie Reed both of Beacon and Michael Reed and wife Margie of Fishkill, New York; One daughter, Dorothy Headspeth of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Fifteen grandchildren, Forty great grandchildren and Twenty seven great great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by husband, Benjamin Lee Reed, parents, two sons, Vincent Reed and James Reed, Three daughters, Vivian Reed, Willie Mae Wright and Frizzelle Reed, two brothers, William Spigner and Lonnie Spigner, sister, Lucille Bonaparte and a great grandchild.
