AGE: 72 RESIDENCE Fifty Six year resident of Newburgh, New York OCCUPATION/MEMBERSHIP Retired Assemblyman Ford Motors Corp. Mahwah, New Jersey Member of AME Zion Church in Newburgh, New York and also a member of the Majestic Men’s Club for a number of years and became an honorary member during the last two years. In 1955, Jack married the love of his life, the late Naomi Inez Geter Ware. From this union came two daughters, Desiree and Darlene. The family of four soon became a family of five with the addition of an inherited daughter Easter Ware. The family of five then became a family of nine after the loss of his sister-in-law, Clarise Pearson. Sheree, Dianna, Tiesha and Trenda. Over the years Jack and Naomi fostered over 30 children. PLACE, DATE OF BIRTH Memphis, Tennessee July 14, 1937 DIED (When, Where) Sunday April 13, 2008 St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Cornwall Campus Cornwall, New York PARENTS Ozzie Lee Ware and Mattie Thomas Ware SURVIVORS Daughters, Desiree Mimms and husband Teddy of Inkster, Michigan and Easter Dolcy of Newburgh, New York; Granddaughters, Gelita Mimms of Inkster, Michigan and Kyro Ojulo of Newburgh, New York; Five grandsons, Romeus Ware and Trinidy Ware both of Memphis, Tennessee, MaKimba Mimms and Lynne’ Mimms both of Manassas, Virginia, Raheem Mimms of Inkster, Michigan, and Jonathan Green of Newburgh, New York; Five great grandchildren, Brandon Mimms, Shamiah Deleston, Mia Mimms, Raheem Mimms and Aniyah Mimms all of Inkster, Michigan; Four brothers, Jessie Ware and wife Maxine and Pete Ware and wife Bernice all of Newburgh, New York, Cornelius Ware of Middletown, New York and Ozere Ware of Wappingers Falls, New York; Four sisters, Juanita Carroll and husband William, Maryetta Woody and husband Alvin all of Newburgh, New York and Bobbie Jean Clegg of Memphis, Tennessee; Sisters-in-law, Annie Mae Ware of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Special friends, Runston Lewis, Floyd Lewis, Melvin Allen, Marion Tyson, Earl and Patricia Sharp, Harvey Burger, Sr., Lois Bradley, Peggy Farmer and Julia Anderson just to name a few. Along with a host of other family and friends. Jack was predeceased by wife, Naomi Inez Geter Ware, parents, daughter and brother. Reverend Twila Ricker Caines, Officiating.
