| Life's beautiful journey has ended for our angel Eunice Faye Harris. On January 9, 2008 God called his angel home to rest. Faye, as she was affectionately known was born February 16, 1925 to the late Robert and Hattie Montgomery of Morris County, Texas. Faye was a graduate of Old Butler College, in Tyler, Texas. She relocated to Newburgh, NY in 1954 where she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Burton where she served as an usher for many years. Faye retired from IBM, Fishkill, NY after 25yrs of dedicated service. She was married for 34 years to the late Benjamin Harris. Preceeding her in death is one son, Homer Ray McCullough, Jr. and one brother Lee Lawrence Montgomery. Left to carry this angel in their hearts are Bettie Loyd, step-daughter, of Florida, 2 grandchildren, Nedra Webster of Georgia and Amal Fuller of New York, and cousins Geraldine Brown and Tovah Brown-Robertson of Texas, who cared for her until she departed this life. She also leaves behind 6 great grandchildren; Candace Fuller, Jason Webster, Isaiah Fuller, Elijah Fuller, Bailey Fuller, Joshua Fuller and a host of friends and extended family members.
Gravesite service will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middlehope, NY. | ||
