Cremation Urns--Temporary Containers
Temporary containers are designed to temporarily hold the cremated remains, as the name indicates.These containers are often used when the remains are going to be scattered, or when the family has not made a final decision on a permanent cremation urn.
Meierjohan-Wengler offers two temporary containers in sheet bronze and plastic. These urns are not recommended for display, but they're meant to be used by the crematories as a temporary measure for housing the cremated remains.
A new type of temporary container offered by Meierjohan-Wengler is the Earthurn series.
Reflect Earthurn

The soft, rich silk bag symbolizes both letting go (through the ritual
of scattering) and holding on (by the retaining of a memento).
Personal mementos or expressions can be placed in the silk bag for the family to keep. A picture frame is provided to further personalize the Reflect Earthurn.

Participants are encouraged to add personal notes as expressions to the loved one. The picture frame incorporated into the top allows for further personalization.
