Both pewter and copper are beautiful metals that make equally beautiful
cremation urns. With the exception of spun copper, both metals can
be engraved for a personal touch.
Like bronze, copper is recognized for its durability.
Meierjohan-Wengler introduced
copper into its line of cremation urns in 1999. Copper is available
in both sheet and spun styles.
Because of copper's unique color in relation to other urns, it
offers great eye appeal in a display.
Pewter is a soft metal composed of 92% tin, 5% antimony, and 3%
copper. Although it is a soft metal, it is still easily engraved.
Both of the pewter urns in the Meierjohan-Wengler line are made
from spun pewter.
