Beverly Haskell

Beverly C. Haskell, 79, of 1294 Norby Rd., died Thursday (Jan. 12, 2012) in her home.
She was born May 15, 1932 in Jamestown, the daughter of Marvin A. and Grace Crossley Chindgren. She was a 1950 graduate of Jamestown High School
Prior to retiring, she had been employed for 22 years as a switchboard operator at WCA Hospital, and had earlier worked for the Jamestown Telephone Corp. for 14 years.
She had attended First Lutheran Church and was a member of Mecca Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing cards and bird watching.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry R. Haskell; and a son, Matthew A. Haskell of Las Vegas, Nev.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin H. Chindgren.
There will be no service or visitation.
Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
