Rock Valley, IA: Michael “Mike” Clemens, age 51, of Rock Valley, formerly of Chicago, died at his apartment, Sunday, August 17, 2008. There will be no services. Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley is assisting the family.
Michael was born January 16, 1957 at Chicago, IL, son of Ogden and Harriet (Shannon) Clemens. He grew up in Chicago. Mike had moved to Rock Valley in 2006 to be closer to his children. He was the best grandfather a child could ask for.
He is survived by his DAUGHTER, Naomi Susan (Tim) Van Veldhuizen of Rock Valley and their child, Faith Ann Van Veldhuizen; SON, Michael Ogden Clemens of Sioux Falls, SD, and his children, Michael Christian Clemens, Savanna Rayne Clemens, Shyene Marie Clemens, Samantha Jo Becker; FATHER, Ogden Clemens of Kerrville, TX; 2 very close friends, Dennis Ryan of Chicago, IL, and Michael Comer of Sioux Falls, SD.
