| | | Inwood, IA – Kenneth “Tiny” Baldwin, 85, died Friday, January 5, 2006 at Canton-Inwood Hospital, Canton, SD. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at Bethel United Methodist Church, Inwood. Burial will be at Richland Cemetery, Inwood. Pastor Steven Swenson will officiate. Visitation will begin at noon Monday with the family present from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home, Inwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethel United Methodist Church, Inwood.
Kenneth “Tiny” Joyce Baldwin was born May 16, 1921 to Virgil and Dorthea (Schmidt) Baldwin near Inwood, IA. Tiny graduated from Inwood High School in 1940. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Tiny worked at the Inwood Hatchery, the Moen Farm Store and as the Lyon County Auditor until his retirement. He was also a past Mayor of Inwood.
Kenneth is survived by one sister, Beverly Holm Brinkman of Inwood; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters: Helen Long, Melvia Pedersen, Vera Pedersen and Lois Lund; 3 brothers: Lloyd, Lawrence and Keith Baldwin.
