| | | HAWARDEN, IOWA- RONALD K. BRUGET, 51, of Hawarden, Iowa died Monday, December 4, 2006 at the Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 9th at the Associated Church in Hawarden. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday also at the church. The Porter Funeral Home of Hawarden is assisting the family with services.
Ronald Kay Bruget was born June 17, 1955 in Hawarden, IA to Ralph and Harriet Bruget, attending West Sioux High School and graduating in 1973. He then attended Northwest Iowa Technical School in Sheldon for heating and air-conditioning service. He worked for his father’s plumbing and heating business for several years and then at American Identity for the last 19 years with part-time work at Central Catering.
Ronnie had many interests and hobbies, including fishing, golfing, and gardening. He shared his wisdom and bounty with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet Bruget. He is survived by his father, Ralph and step-mother Virginia Bruget of Hawarden; three children and their spouses, Matt and Jill Jacobs of Hawarden, Jerod and Kayla Bruget and daughter Josalyn of Akron, IA and Lindsey Bruget and her fiancée Aaron Stein and their children Sydney and Piper of Volga, SD; twin brother, Raymond Bruget of Billings, MT; two sisters, Jaylene and husband Alex Pirro of Santa Ana, CA and Deborah and husband Tom Leckband of Sioux Falls, SD. Ronnie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend Linda Bowden.
