| | | Rock Valley: Bruce Bunch, 46, of Rock Valley, died due to health complications Monday, November 20, 2006, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls. Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm Wednesday at Pioneer United Methodist Church, Rock Valley. Burial at Valley View Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Robertson will be officiating. Visitation with family present will be 7-8 pm Tuesday at Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley.
Bruce was born October 15, 1960 at Sioux Center, IA, son of Gene and Shirley (Hubers) Bunch. He graduated from Rock Valley High School in 1979. Bruce was married to Donna Vis. He attended Morningside College and UNI and obtained a recreational therapist degree. Youth Counselor Fort Collins, CO, Seattle WA, Sioux Falls, SD and St Louis, MO before returning to Rock Valley in July of 2005.
Bruce is survived by his daughter, Holly Myers of Dell Rapids, SD; grandson, Danek Myers; mother, Shirley Bunch of Rock Valley; sister, Peg (Dave) Nilsen of Sioux Falls, SD; nieces and nephews, Tony Kattke, Sarah Kattke, Alyse Nilsen, Jonathan Beeler, Brian Nilsen, Mindy Nilsen.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Gene, and sister, Pam
