San Jose, CA - Lillian Bernice Jamtgaard Harry, 88, died on Friday, October 20, 2006 in San Jose, CA. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 30 at Grace Hill Cemetery, Hawarden. Reverend Todd Bunge will officiate. Family and friends will be gathering at 1:30 p.m., Monday at Porter Funeral Home, Hawarden before processing to the cemetery.
Lillian Bernice Jamtgaard Harry was born October 8, 1918 near Alcester, South Dakota, the daughter of Ole and Marie (Rambrant) Jamtgaard. She married George Wesley Harry April 19, 1941 at Hawarden, Iowa. The couple moved to Mountain View, California in 1950. Lillian was a housewife and a long time resident of East Palo Alto and Menlo Park, California. George W. Harry died on April 1, 1981.
Lillian is survived by four children, Douglas Lee Harry of Fremont, CA, Norris Leon Harry of San Jose, CA, Alan Dale Harry of Silverton, OR and Anne Fowkes of Menlo Park, CA; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Bly of Sioux Falls, SD and Alvin Loyd Jamtgaard of Sacramento, CA.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband George and a son, Joel Rodney Harry of Menlo Park, California.
