| | | HAWARDEN, IOWA- DARLENE D. (LOE) ANDERBERG, 76, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, formerly of Hawarden, Iowa died Friday, January 28, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the American Lutheran Church in Hawarden with Rev. Doug Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery at Hudson, South Dakota. Visitation will begin at noon Monday at the Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
Darlene D. Anderberg was born April 26, 1928 at Fairview, South Dakota, the daughter of Arthur and Evelyn (Starr) Loe. She graduated from the Hudson High School in 1946 and attended Beauty College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Darlene married John J. Anderberg and they lived in many different states, including South Dakota, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. They made their home in Hawarden, Iowa for many years where she was a member of the American Lutheran Church. They moved to Sioux Falls two years ago.
Darlene is survived by her husband, John of Sioux Falls; 5 daughters and their husbands, Darla Joyner and John of Three Forks, Montana, Clarice Decker and Roger of Sioux Falls, Candace Helgeson and James of Devils Lake, North Dakota, Rhonda Rogers and Curt of Lakewood, Colorado and Debra Weidell and Ron of St. Paul, Minnesota; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lila Ludwig.
