| | | Evelyn Louise (Beauchene) Bedard was born January 29, 1928 in Jefferson, South Dakota. She entered into rest on January 2, 2005. Evelyn was the oldest of six children. On April 27, 1946 she married Milo “Mike” Bedard in Dakota City, Nebraska.
She demonstrated selflessness her entire life. She and Milo were foster parents for several years in northern California. During her life she exhibited her love for people by the service she did both in California and Hawarden. Such services included Mapes Nursing Home, Hospital Auxiliary and Mid-Sioux Opportunity. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, sewing, dancing with Milo, puzzles and babysitting.
Her love for children had no boundaries. Her love and compassion were demonstrated numerous times by purchasing several items for those that were in need.
Her life now has entered into heaven where she will join her husband and several family and friends. Her spirit, determination and zest for life will be carried on through her daughter Janette.
