| | | The holidays are difficult for anyone on the grief journey when the person struggles to find any joy in the celebrations. At Porter Funeral Home, we are remembering our families we served by hosting a “Holiday Remembrance Service”.
The service will be held at 1:00 p.m., December 8, 2007 at Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley, IA. A “Candle Lighting Ceremony” and “Special Music” will also be performed.
For those of you who received a candle throughout this year, we encourage you to bring your candle with you to the funeral home for the “Candle Lighting Ceremony”. For those whose loved ones passed before 2007, we also invite you to participate in the Ceremony. We do have candles available for purchase. If you would like the candle personalized you would need a picture brought to the funeral home before December 5, 2007.
There will also be a time of refreshment and fellowship following the service at the funeral home.
