Of Lackawanna, NY, November 3, 2004, beloved husband of Ruth Kortash (Dunkle); loving father of Michael Jr. (Susan) Kortash, Kathyann (Chester) Pastuszynski, Joy Ann Kortash-Schumacker, and Kimberly Ann Kortash; dear brother of Helen (William) Baladenskas, Caty (Delbert) Lloyd, Rita Buck; also predeceased by a brother and a sister; cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Family will be present to receive friends on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the O'CONNELL-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 2286 South Park Ave. where funeral will be held Monday at 9:15 followed by a Funeral Service in South Park United methodist Church at 10:00. Flowers gratefully declined. Mr. Kortash was a member of South Park Mens Senior Gold Club and a Union Steward for Local 36. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery.
