Of Buffalo, NY, December 14, 2003, beloved husband of the late Helen (Knott) Selig; loving father of Richard (Audrey) Selig, Ruth (Thomas) Whelan and John (Susan) Selig; dear brother of Albert (Myrtle) Selig, Lillian (late Ralph) Leonard, Donald Selig and the late Adolf (Olive), Arthur (Eileen) Selig, Eleanor (Ed) Herda and Robert Selig; cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the O'CONNELL-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 2286 South Park Ave., where funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9:30. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to thank the Autumnview Health Care Facility, Unit B and staff for all their loving and constant care of Mr. Selig. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.
