|Stephen Anton Molacek Sr., the son of Adolph and Helen (Podany) Molacek, was born December 19, 1927, in Clarkson, Nebraska and departed this life of Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 5 days old.
Stephen received his education in the rural Clarkson schools.
Stephen was a World War II veteran from 1944 until the completion of the war. On April 28, 1949, he was united in marriage to Barbara Mortimore in Blue Earth, Minnesota. The couple lived in Estherville, Iowa where he was employed at Hills Packing Company and later John Morrell Company. Then moved to Garden Grove, California where he was employed at Mead Paper for 11 years, then moved to Wallingford, Iowa where he worked for Regional Transit until he retired. After retirement they moved to Glendale, Arizona where he resided until he went on to live with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who always brought so much joy to us. He will always be remembered for making a difference, giving his best for others and doing the best he could; who meant the world to everyone and will be truly missed by all.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Barbara (Mortimore) Molacek, nine children; four daughters, Anita Beach of Glendale, Arizona; Pamela Sheda and her husband, Joseph of Estherville; Dawn Molacek of Estherville; Sheila Ross of Wallingford; five sons, Kenneth Molacek and wife, Cathy of Lake Havasu, Arizona; Dennis Molacek and wife, Kathie of Early, Texas; Stephen Molacek Jr. and wife, Joyce of Hemet, California; Douglas Molacek and wife, Rose of Algona; John Molacek and wife, Julie of Wilmar; one brother, Cletus Molacek and wife, Kaye of Huntington Beach, California; 43 grandchildren, and 68 great grandchildren.
He has been preceded in death by one son Stephen, two grandsons, Chad Beach and Matthew Molacek, his parents, Adolph and Helen, one brother, Frank Molacek and one sister, Wilma (Molacek) Walker.
