Beverly Ann (Linn) Peter the daughter of Alfred Emil and Dorothy Mae (Johnson) Linn was born December 30, 1941 in Iowa City, Iowa and passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 63.
She received her education in Graettinger schools. On June 22, 1992, Beverly was united in marriage to Ronald Dean Peter "Pete" in Estherville, Iowa. Beverly was employed for many years at the Emmet County Daycare and has lived most of her life in Estherville.
Beverly was a member of First Christian Church in Estherville and for hobbies, she enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking, spur of the moment road-trips and spending time with family.
Left to cherish Beverly's memory is her husband, Ronald of Estherville; her father, Alfred Emil of Estherville; her children, Julie Ann Bannister and her husband, Carl Lyons of Estherville; Laura Jane Bannister Weber and her husband, Steven Mason of Estherville; Brenda Mae Bannister and her husband, Jerry Lenz of Schaller, Iowa; Michael Allen Bannister and his wife, Misty of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; Cory Lee Peter and his wife, Vicki of Milford; and Ryan Joel Peter and his wife, Laura of Pearl City, Hawaii; grandchildren, Jamie Lyle Bannister-Lyons of Estherville; Jill Ellen Lyons of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Tanner Royce Lyons of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Joshua Michael Weber of Graettinger; Jared James Weber of Langdon, Iowa; Stevie Ray Mason of Estherville; Travis Jon Lenz of Schaller; Corey Lee Bosma of Schaller; Jenna Leigh Lenz of Lakeside, Iowa; Blake James Peter of Milford; Bryce Lee Peter of Milford; Hannah Elizabeth Peter of Pearl City; Brayden Andrew Peter of Pearl City; great grandchildren, Christopher Allen Lyons DeVary of Ringsted; Collin Michael Lyons of Forest City; Austin Reed Lyons and Arron Tomas Lyons both of Heron Lake; Brendon Carl Lyons and Alexius Joanne Lyons both of Cheyenne; Valin Kruze Gastello and Tristin Shae Gastello both of Fredericksburg; Ashton Michael Pyleski of Lakeside; Joslyn Michelle Weber and Ethan Aaron Weber both of Graettinger; Hailey Ann Lenz and Halley Bendu Lenz both of Schaller; brothers and sisters, Carol Jean Linn and her husband, David Scott of San Angelo, Texas; Ronald Linn and his wife, Charlene of Colfax, Iowa; Nancy Sue Linn and her husband, Daun Raines of Estherville; Marsha Kay Linn and her husband, Perry Mann of Graettinger and many nieces and nephews.
She has been preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Lyle Bannister, three brothers, Gerald, David and Rick; mother, Dorothy Linn, father and mother-in-law, Esther and Elmer Peter, maternal grandparents, Martin and Ivy (Platter) Johnson, paternal grandparents, Albert and Ida (Dalen) Linn and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and friends.
