1920 – 2008 June Louise Clark, 88, Fort Collins, Colorado, formerly of Savannah, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008 in her home, where she lived with her son and wife, Mary. June Louise Clark (formerly June Courtney) was born June 8, 1920 in Union Star, Missouri to the late Edgar and Clara Courtney. She was a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University. June taught at Union Star for 32 years, teaching 8th Grade and serving as Elementary Principal. Her husband, Jimmy Clark, preceded her in death in 1999. She has since lived with her son and daughter-in-law in Flower Mound, Texas, Valrico, Florida and Fort Collins, CO. June was a member of Order of Eastern Star and First Baptist Church, Savannah, Missouri. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, James C. and Mary Clark, Fort Collins, CO; two grandchildren, James J. Clark, Fort Collins and Kathryn J. Clark, Thornton, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Savannah, MO. Celebration of Life: 11 AM Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. Interment in Whitesville, Missouri Cemetery. Public viewing and family receiving hours 6-8 PM Wednesday. | ||
