| Joy Ann Salesman, 67, of Vicksburg, passed away at 10:38 PM Friday May 2, 2008 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana November 29, 1940 to Wayne E. Cowden and Katherine Burnam Cowden. She was preceded in death by her father Wayne Cowden, also two sisters; Darla Sue Cowden, and Deborah Cooksey, also a great granddaughter; Tequilla Ruff. She was married to Joy H. Salesman on December 20, 1957 to 1976, and remained best friends until his death. Survivors include her mother Katherine Burnam Cowden of Sullivan, one son; Dennis DeWayne Salesman (Rhonda) of Dugger, four daughters; Darla Kay Jenkins (Brian) of Hymera, Pamela Sue Wildin (Sonny) of Vicksburg, Rose Ann Blanton (Scott) of Jasonville, and Tanya Dawn Salesman (Ronnie) of Jasonville, two sisters; Vicki French of Terre Haute, and Judith Drake of Jasonville, one brother; Jerry Wayne Cowden of Sullivan, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday May 7, 2008 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger with Pastor Sam Bush officiating. Burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday and before services Wednesday. | ||
