| Ruth Ethel (Chapman) Franklin, 84, of Judsonia, died Friday, April 18, 2008. She was born May 8, 1923 in the Dewey Community of White County, Arkansas, a daughter of the late George Martin and Claudia Andrews Chapman. She was a homemaker and the widow of Leo Jackson Franklin.
Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Dee Ann and Paul Kenneth Place; 2 grandchildren, Rochelle Choe Place and Matthew Jae Place. She was preceded in death by a son, Dan Alan Franklin; brothers, Ray, Robert, Roy and Rex Chapman. Visitation: Monday, 6-8 p.m. Graveside service: Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at Providence Cemetery.
