|Jimmie Eugene Fowler, 49, of 130 Bennett Circle, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 19, 1958, in Cowpens, SC, he was the son of Jimmie D. Fowler of Gaffney and the late Ruby Jolly Fowler. He was a former truck driver and a member of Love Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his father is his wife, Sheila Cantrell Fowler; two daughters, Brandi Kersh and her husband Jason of Cowpens, and Holly Baker and her husband Brandon of Glendale; a son, Dustin Atkins of Cowpens; a grandson, Nate Kersh of Cowpens; two sisters, Renee Thrift and her husband Mike of Cowpens, and Lisa Martin and her husband Glenn of Blacksburg; a brother, Dale Fowler and his wife Bennie of Gaffney; a step-sister, Nikki Humphries and her husband Trae of Gaffney; a step-brother, Joel Winchester of Clayton, GA; and his step-mother, Pat Fowler of Gaffney. He was predeceased by a sister, Diane Fowler.
Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2008, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. James Price, the Rev. Bruce Randolph, and the Rev. Fred S. Quidley. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
