Nancy Ann Fread was born to Kenneth and Vivian (Roland) Fread on November 5, 1953. Due to Nancy’s health issues she moved to Sheldon where she made her home at Village Northwest Unlimited.
Nancy was very content at Village Northwest and received exceptional care from those around her. She loved going on day trips to places like the Clay County Fair or the Tulip Festival. She also liked going camping with her friends. Nancy also enjoyed listening to music.
Nancy became ill and had to be taken to Avera Health Center in Sioux Falls where she passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the age of 55.
Nancy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glen and Violet Roland and Ernest and Anne Fread; an infant sister, Patricia Jane Fread; and several aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Vivian Fread of Ruthven, Iowa; a brother, Roger Fread and his wife, Karen of New Sharon, Iowa; two sisters, Barbara Garrett and her husband, Chester of Williamston, South Carolina and Lisa Markley and her husband, Craig of Ames, Iowa; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; her friends at Village Northwest Unlimited in Sheldon, Iowa; as well as other relatives and friends.
