Sorry to hear of the passing of Hazel, I remember always at the Dr.'s office in Emmetsburg and how she was so caring. But the thing I remember most was the summer she was the nurse at 4-H camp at Okoboji and I was a counselor. As soon as camp was over we got into her car and she drove me to Ayrshire making it in time for me to play a softball game, summer of 1981. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I remember that for many years Hazel was the nurse at 4-H camp. She was such an inspiration to everyone around her and was so much fun to have at camp. I also worked with Hazel at Palo Alto County Hospital and remember that she was had excellent clinical skills and even better people skills. I am glad that she was in my life.

Marvin,Dorothy and family,
Very sorry to hear of Hazel's passing. She was a
very sweet lady. Have very vivid memories of her when I was younger and her working at the doctor's office. She was a true professional and always put me at ease when I was ill and had to go to the office. Can even remember her stopping by the house on her way home one time just to check and see how I was doing. She was truly an "angel". Know the great love that she had for her neices and nephews---you were truly blessed by the presence that she played in your lives. You are in my thoughts and prayers. | From: Sharon Franker 07/18/2010 09:03 PM

May the family find comfort in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) He has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) Take care, | From: valerie thompson 07/16/2010 11:18 AM
