Beverly Jean Craig, daughter of Ervin C. and Doris M. (Brown) Miller, was born December 23, 1935 in Ruthven, Iowa. She attended school in Ruthven graduating from Ruthven High School in 1953. Following graduation Beverly attended the University of Iowa and later A.I.B. in Des Moines.
Beverly was employed as a secretary and worked with her husband in the wholesale clothing business. She later worked in the business office at a country club in Palm Springs. Beverly was blessed with a son, Mitchell.
She was a member of P.E.O. where she was active until her health limited her. Beverly moved back to Iowa in the mid 1980’s living in her own home in Ruthven. In 1995 she moved to Lakeside Lutheran Home in Emmetsburg where she made her home..
Beverly died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Lakeside Lutheran Home in Emmetsburg, Iowa at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Doris; and her son, Mitchell.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Joens and her husband, Jerry of Clarinda, IA; her brother, Roger Miller and his wife, Linda of Ruthven, IA; nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
