Patricia Ann Clark, daughter of David and Frances (Hively) Clark, was born March 6, 1939 in Emmetsburg, Iowa. Patty grew up in Emmetsburg and later moved to Kathleen’s Residential Care where she made her home for several years. She then moved to a Horizon’s Group Home.
Patty was employed at Horizon’s Unlimited working in the kitchen as well as in the can redemption center. Her most memorable days were the times with her co-workers. She was proud of her jobs and was a dedicated worker.
Patty participated in the Special Olympics in Ames and was very proud of the medals she brought home for the events she participated in. She also loved the time she got to spend with her family and Lou Ann. She enjoyed putting puzzles together.
In 2008 Patty moved from the group home to Lakeside Lutheran Home. She passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the age of 70. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her parents.
She is survived by her brother, David Clark, Jr. of Marshalltown, IA; her sister, Shirley Duncun of Des Moines, IA; her guardian, Lou Ann Huberty of Emmetsburg, IA; as well as her many friends that she made throughout her life.
