| | | Jerry L. Packman, age 58 passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Johnson Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, Franklin. He was a resident of Bargersville.
He was born Feb. 2 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Charles and Chrystelle (Lee) Packman.
Survivors include three daughters Stephanie D. Packman, Brownsburg, Jamie M. (Steve) Napier of Indianapolis, Michelle Friebarger of New Albany, Seven Grandchildren, Ashley and Robbie Massey, Deborah Packman, Sydney and Savannah Napier, Taylor Klemann ad Chase Hornback. three sisters: Patty Slater of Indianapolis, Karen Stouder of Indianapolis, Susan (Frank) Vallone of Carmel, a step Sister, Patty (Randy) Zorman, Indianapolis and
one brother: Ronnie (Nancy) Packman of Nashville, IN
Jerry employed by General Motors Allison Plant 14 as a Machinist for over 25 years retiring in 2001. He was a member of the UAW Local 933. He served as a Lance Cpl with the United States Marine Corp during the VietNam War from 1968 -1970
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and belonged to several Motorcycle Clubs.
He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, Cremation & Personalization Center, Morgantown with calling from 12:00 p.m. until service
Time Saturday. The Military Honors will be presented by the Martinsville American Legion and VFW Honor Guard .at the finish of the funeral service
