| | | Cecil “Cody” Hall, age 20 passed away Wednesday morning, June 10, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Trafalgar and a former resident of Brown County.
Cody was born February 16, 1989 in Franklin to his loving parents Cecil D. and Almeda J. (Pittman) Hall who survive in Trafalgar.
He will be missed by his sister: Debra A. and her husband Eugene Burkhart of Brown County and cherished by his maternal grandmother: Shirley Smith, and her husband Eugene of Peoga; paternal grandfather: Cecil Hall, and his wife Eunice of War Branch, KY and several aunts and uncles.
Cody was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Leda G. Hall.
He was a 2007 graduate of Brown County High School.
Cody worked as a Laborer for Gradex Incorporated in Indianapolis for the past three years. He was a member of the laborers International Union of North America Local 1112. Cody was a hard worker who enjoyed spending his free time working on trucks, riding ATV’s and visiting with friends.
He was a friend to all and cared greatly for his dog “Lacey”. Cody was a fan of comedy movies and enjoyed fishing.
The Rev. Scott Schnizler will conduct a funeral service 10:30 am Monday at Faith Full Gospel Church, 6881 St. Rd. 135 in Brown County. A funeral wake for friends and family will start at 4 pm on Sunday afternoon at the church. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery Morgantown.
Cody’s spirit and kind nature will live on by being a multiple organ donor to others. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Cody to the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization, 3760 Guion Road Ste. 201 Indianapolis, IN 46222.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
