Ronald E. Emerson - Sandner, age 45 passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009 at R.L. Rouderbush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Columbus.

Ronald was born March 5, 1964 in Indianapolis. He married Gina L. (Clawson) Sandner on May 17, 2003 in Brown County.

Ronald served as a Private with the United States Marine Corp. for four years.

He worked as a Licensed Plumber with Mr. Rooter in Franklin for the past four years. Ronald attended the Way of the Holiness Tabernacle Church in Brown County and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Columbus. He loved the outdoors, working in his yard, taking fishing trips and working with his wife on their garden pond. He loved his family and enjoyed his parrot: Amigo and his two dogs: Chandi & Baby.
Survivors include his wife: Gina L. Sandner of Columbus; two children: William & Krystal Poff both of Columbus; mother: Dorothy Pollan of Amarillo, TX; father and step-mother: Donald R. & Sherry J. Emerson of Brown County; step-father: Tony Sandner of Sioux Falls, SD; four sisters: Donna (Charles) Dodson of Columbus, Rhonda (Alex) Sizemore of Trafalgar, Deanna Emerson of Edinburgh & Amanda Emerson of Trafalgar; two brothers: Michael (Tina) Emerson and R.C. Emerson both of Trafalgar; several nieces and nephews.
The Revs. Wayne Baker and Eugene Baker Sr. will conduct a funeral service 10:30 am Tuesday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Spearsville Wesleyan Church Cemetery in Brown County with full military rites presented by the Brown County Veterans Honor Guard.
