Sandra D. (Kemp) McKee, age 51 passed away Monday morning, December 29, 2008 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a resident of Trafalgar. Sandra was born May 25, 1957 in Franklin to Raymond V. and Marjorie J. (Ellis) Kemp. She married Craig L. McKee on June 28, 1975 in Morgantown. He lovingly survives. Other survivors include her mother: Marjorie J. Kemp of Trafalgar; two daughters: Melissa A. (Jason) Tincher of Morgantown and Christy L. (John) Robertson of Nashville; one son: Jason C. (Gina) McKee of Bloomington; two sisters: Susan D. Pate of Trafalgar and Sharon D. Kemp of Fishers; one brother: Gene (Jill) Kemp of Trafalgar; four grandchildren: Luke Robertson of Nashville, Olivia Tincher of Morgantown, Evan & Lillian McKee both of Bloomington; several nieces and nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her father: Raymond V. Kemp, one brother: David S. Kemp. She was a 1975 graduate of Indian Creek High School. Sandra worked for the past two years at the Comfort Inn Hotel in Nashville. Prior to that, she worked for Specialty Connectors in Franklin as an Assembly Worker for seven years. She was a twenty-five year member of the Assembly of God Church in Morgantown. Sandra was a loving mother, homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren. She loved bird watching, playing the lottery, spending time with her dog “Angus” and reading about holistic healing. A funeral service will be conducted 1 pm Friday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. Condolences to the McKee family can be sent to www.meredith-clark.com.
