| | | Theresa A. Bowyer, age 44 passed away Tuesday morning, July 15, 2008 at her residence in Morgantown.
She was born November 30, 1963, in Indianapolis, to James D. and Barbara (Tenney) Bowyer.
Survivors include her father: James D. “Jim” Bowyer of Martinsville; one brother: David K. (Becky) Bowyer of Martinsville; one sister: Patty L. (Bobby) Bowyer-Speer of Houston, TX; two nieces: Elaina & Emily Bowyer both of Martinsville and two nephews: Jonathan & Isaac Bowyer both of Martinsville.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Barbara Bowyer on June 9, 1996.
Theresa was a 1982 graduate of Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis. She went on to receive her Bachelors of Science in Health & Physical Education from Milligan College of Tennessee in 1987.
Theresa was active as a Army ROTC Cadet from 1984 to 1986.
She loved her neices and nephews and enjoyed riding her bike, reading & creative writing. She also enjoyed her cats and socializing on the phone.
The Rev. Woody Church will conduct a Celebration of Life Service 11 am Thursday at the Faith Church, 1895 St. Rd. 44 in Martinsville.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Theresa to the Manna Mission 65 W. Morgan Street Martinsville, IN 46151.
