| | | Kenneth Leroy Adams age 65 passed away peacefully at his residence in Albuquerque, NM after a prolonged illness on Monday, November 5, 2007. He was a former resident of Indianapolis. Kenneth was born in Indianapolis to the late Howard A. & Maude I. (Galyan) Adams. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Dory (Giffin) Adams. She survives.
Other survivors include one son: Jon Adams of Albuquerque, NM; one daughter: Danielle (Michael) Greene of Albuquuerque, NM; four grandsons: James (Stefanie), Parker, Austin & Cayman Greene all of Las Cruces, NM.
Kenneth was a 1960 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis. He served in the Indiana Army National Guard for eight years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 669, F. & A.M. in Indianapolis.
Ken retired from AT & T in 1990 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed anything with a powerful motor, most especially dirt bikes. He received several trophies and awards for his cross-country dirt bike riding. He also enjoyed snow skiing, photography, hiking and backpacking.
The Rev. Roy Ice will conduct a graveside service 2 pm Saturday, November 17, 2007 at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. A Masonic Service will take place during graveside service.
Memorial donations in Kenneth’s memory have been requested in lieu of flowers made to ARCA Foundation, 11300 Lomas Blvd. NE. Albuquerque, NM 87112.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
