| | | Michael L. Brooks, age 59 passed away Tuesday morning, October 23, 2007 at The Waters of Martinsville. He was a resident of Morgantown.
Born March 8, 1948 in New Castle, he was the son of Paul H. and Ritta (Brooks) Brooks.
Michael was employed as a Paint & Body Specialist for Slater Auto in Brown County. Prior to that he was employed by Grahamīs Body Shop in Franklin as a Collision Repair Specialist.
He enjoyed restoring old automobles, fishing, wood working and playing the scratch - off lottery.
Michael is survived by his longtime companion: Judy A. Couch of Morgantown; two daughters: Sunny R. (Rick) Trisler of Whiteland & Stacy M. (Chris) Untermeyer of Martinsville; two sons: Mike L. Brooks of Whiteland & Robert E. (Erin) Couch of Morgantown; Grandchildren: Mike Landrum, Shelby Cooper, Sierra & Sydney Trisler, Katelynn & Ethen Couch and Haylie Untermeyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Susan Brooks & Shirley Jane Allison.
The Rev. Burt Brock will conduct a funeral service 12 pm Thursday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown.
Friends may call Thursday from 10 am till time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be Thursday at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
