| | | James H. Atkins, 39, of Warren, died at home Friday, October 16, 2009. The cause of death is pending. He was born December 27, 1969 in Warren, the son of Howard E. and Mildred E. (Shewell) Atkins, and had lived in Trumbull County all his life.
A graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School, Mr. Atkins was a veteran of the U.S. Army. A member of the Disabled American Veterans, he enjoyed computers, fishing, and his cats and dogs.
Surviving are his mother, Mildred Atkins of Warren; a sister, Kathy Eckert of York, Pa.; two brothers, Scott Klinedinst of Warren and Todd (Cathy) Klinedinst of Wilmington, N.C.; and his nieces, nephews, and many friends. Preceding him in death are his father, Howard E. Atkins, and a brother, Steve Atkins.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2009 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Walter Coy of First United Church of Christ officiating. Friends may call 5:00 to 6:00 Friday at the funeral home. Material contributions may be made to First United Church of Christ, 280 E. Market St., Warren, Ohio 44481.
