Russell D. "Danny" Trippy, III, age 37, of 208 N. Main Street, Jamestown, NY, died Sunday, December 25, 2005 unexpectedly at home.
He was born August 23, 1968 in Gastonia, North Carolina the son of Russell D. Trippy, Jr. of Jamestown and Vernada (Cummings) Blanton of Fort Mill, SC.
He had been a resident of Morristown, TN prior to becoming a Jamestown area resident in 1981. He was a 1987 Graduate of Cassadaga High School and had been employed in the Automotive Service industry as a Service Writer for several years in the Jamestown area. Danny had assisted his father at Hilltop Electronic Service in Jamestown He was a Certified ASC Writer for Ford Motor Company.
Danny enjoyed music and reading, however his love was his family, especially his children.
Besides his parents, his is survived by his two sons: Jacob A. Trippy and James Eastham of Jamestown, NY, his one daughter: Kristen Trippy also of Jamestown, and their mother Bobie-Jo Eastham of Jamestown, his three sisters: Lisa Marie Trippy of Ft. Mill, SC, Robin Lynn Barja of Charlotte, NC, Cheryl Lee Heith of Jamestown, NY, his half brother: Chad Carlson of Jamestown. He is also survived by his Grandparents, Crystal Henry of Brocton, NY and Wayne Henry of Stockton, NY and Alice Brayboy-Hunt of Charlotte, NC.
He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Russell D. Trippy, Sr., and his Maternal grandfather, Clarence C. Cummings
Friends may call at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services and interment will be private.
In leiu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Danny's children,c/o Russell Trippy, Jr., 208 N. Main St., Jamestown, NY 14701.
