Obituary Notice Ruth Winifred Alford Ruth Winifred (Lloyd) Alford, age 91, of 26 Cass Street, Westfield, NY, died Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the Waters of Westfield in Westfield, New York. She was born July 08, 1913 in Westfield, New York the daughter of the late George and Eva (Henry) Lloyd. A Westfield area resident most all her life, she was a graduate of Westfield Academy and the Buffalo Beauty School. She had owned and operated her own beauty salon at 2nd and Elm Sts. in Westfield for several years. She had been the Head Cashier for Edgar Lloyd Auctions for many years. Prior to her retirement she had been a Real Estate Broker in the Westfield area for many years. She had attended the Presbyterian Churches both in Westfield and Erie, PA. She loved to sew and enjoyed fine dining and was an accomplished embroiderer. She enjoyed going antiquing. Survivors include her sister and brother, Leila Taylor of Westfield, NY, and John William "Bill" Lloyd of Ithaca, NY, Several Nieces and 1 nephew also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband J. Kenneth Alford, her father, George Lloyd, and her mother, Eva (Henry) Lloyd, and her brother Edgar Lloyd. Visitation will not be observed Graveside Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the Westfield Cemetery. Rev. Vincent Sanzo of Lakeshore Assembly of God will be officiating. Burial will be in the Westfield Cemetery in Westfield. Memorials may be made to: Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, Inc., 7540 N.
