Mary Louise (Fry) Hamilton Smith
Mary Louise (Fry) Hamilton Smith, age 88, of Washington Street, Westfield, NY, formerly of Franklin, PA, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at The Waters Of Westfield, in Westfield, New York.
A Westfield area resident most all her life she was born and raised in Franklin, Pennsylvania and moved to VanBuren in 1942 and then settled in Westfield. An accomplished chef and cook, she had been employed at the former Lathrop's Lakeside Restaurant (Barcelona Harbor House), Lee's Restaurant and retired from the Portage Inn in Westfield. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Westfield, enjoyed cooking and was an avid Yard Saler. However, her family was most important to her.
She was born March 11, 1916 in Franklin, Pennsylvania the daughter of Joseph and Grace (Seavy) Fry.
Survivors include her son and his wife
Donald L. and Candy Hamilton of Westfield, NY, her 3 Grandchildren, Karen Hamilton of Chicago, IL, Sandra Hamilton of Woodridge, IL, and Julie Hamilton of Cincinnati, OH,
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bert Fry, and her mother, Grace (Seavy) Fry, her son Robert L. Hamilton, her two grandsons Kent Hamilton and Edward Hamilton, and by her first husband Robert B. Hamilton.
Visitation will not be observed.
Funeral services will be held Graveside in Westfield Cemetery privately for the family.
Rev. Matthew Golibersuch of The United Methodist Church of Westfield will be officiating.
