Henry R. "Hank" Kriegbaum
Henry R. "Hank" Kriegbaum, age 72, of Bliss Road, Mayville, NY, formerly of the town of Tonawanda, NY, died Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania, following a brief illness.
He was born July 17, 1932 in Buffalo, New York the son of the late Albert "Pappy" and Edna (Oger) Kriegbaum.
Raised in Buffalo, he attended St. Michaels Elementary School and Graduated from Seneca Vocational High School and had been employed by Sears Corp. as a Service Technician for 25 years retiring in 1987. He moved to the Westfield / Mayville area upon his retirement.
He was a member of the Lakeshore Assembly of God where he was a board member (Deacon) and very active in Church affairs. His hobbies include carpentry, electrical work, gardening, cooking, hunting and fishing and the entire outdoors.
However his main love was his family. .
He served in the Navy during Korean Conflict having attained the rank of AE3. He Enlisted on September 17, 1952 at Buffalo, NY and was Discharged on June 30, 1954 at Naval Air Station, Patuxant River, MD
Survivors include his wife,
Phyllis M. (Gerner) Kriegbaum of Mayviile, NY, his 4 sons; David, Daniel, Michael and Kenneth Kriegbaum all of Tonawanda, NY, his 3 step-children; Colleen Plewniak of Tonawanda, NY, Robert Moynihan of Wheatfield, NY, Scott Moynihan of Ohio, his 9 grandchildren; Jason Plewniak, Kari Plewniak , Nicholas Plewniak, Emily Plewniak, Erin Moynihan, Shawn Moynihan, Daniel Kriegbaum, Lindsay Kriegbaum, andSara Kriegbaum. his 6 brothers and sisters; Howie Kriegbaum of Buffalo, NY, Marie Michaels of Buffalo, NY, Richard Kriegbaum of Lawton, OK, Beatrice Brooks California, George Kriegbaum of Lawton, OK, and Bernice Parisien of Lawton, OK
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert "Pappy" Kriegbaum, and his mother, Edna (Oger) Kriegbaum, his 2 sisters; Florence Efford and Lorraine Dvorak and by his brother Joseph Kriegbaum.
Friends may call at MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, NY
on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at The Lakeshore Assembly of God,. Rev. Vincent Sanzo of Lakeshore Assembly of God, will be officiating.
