As caring professionals, we believe it is a part of our responsibility to the community to assist those in grief. Death is one of the most traumatic experiences an individual must cope with, and being surrounded by understanding and compassionate friends is very important. We must also realize that grief is a process, and should not be held inside, but rahter worked through. We would like to be of assistance in the following ways: Mann-Hare Funeral Home has a wide variety of books and pamphlets for all ages that can assist you in overcoming the grief process. The reading materials often allows an individual to understand where they are in the grief process, or why they are feeling the way they do. Also, our fully licensed funeral directors are experienced with helping in these situations, and are available at any time. We are willing to speak either at our facility, or in the home. Again, openly discussing feelings is of critical importance in the process of grieving. Grief support groups are available locally, and via the internet through GriefNet (Click), if an individual would rather seek support from others working through a similar situation. We can help you find the support group that best meets your needs. Mann-Hare Funeral Home also has suggestions for friends or family that would like to assist an individual experiencing a loss, but are not sure exactly what to say. Just contact us for this or any information regarding grief. Public Speaking is always available for youth groups, senior centers, etc. that are in need. We are here to serve in any way we can.
