Service Is Our Responsibility

Major Erickson is proud of the dignified, professional and thoughtful service offered at the time of loss.

Major Erickson provides helpful advice and years of experience in planning the details necessary for a suitable service. We realize there is no single proper funeral service. Like most things, there are many funeral alternatives from which to choose and costs vary accordingly. We translate our years of training and experience into conscientious service and a concern for each family we serve.

At Major Erickson, we feel a funeral represents a purposeful opportunity to reflect on the meaning of a life that has been lived, and to determine the impact of that meaning for the family and friends. It is a time for human sharing in its deepest sense. You and the ones you love are at the very center of the process, and the choices you make will determine its significance for you. One must remember, the funeral service is for those who survive.

Our goal at Major Erickson is to help people complete the relationship with the one who has died and to provide a climate that encourages each person to give and receive emotional support.

we were in Hawaii at time of Mom's (Ann Crowell) death...and advised we could not return fast enough. Have you proceded with the plan we talked about on schedule? We hope my brother sent info for obituary. We will not return until March 22...as of our original flight plans. Send info by e-mail or call JD's cell 641-430-9531. Thanx. We move to Kona coast of Hawaii tomorrow from Kauai.

Dear Marjorie and family, Pauline and I were so sorry to hear of Archie's passing. I want to express our most sincere sympathy as well as from my mother and from Linda and her family. We have such fond memories of Archie from our many family visits. He was so much fun to be around. He always had a funny story to tell and always had a twinkle in his eyes. I understand Kathryn spoke with Maxine on Monday and told her this news. As you probably know by now, mom has dementia which has greatly affected her ability to comprehend and remember things. I'm glad she was able to provide Kathryn with my sister's telephone number. I would like very much to speak with you or Kathryn or Charlotte whenever it would be convenient. My telephone number is 360-249-5430. Most sincerely, Roger
