INFANT DOMINIC THOMAS BACKUS, son of Philip Andrew and Ingrid Jeanette Silvester Backus of Elkins, WV departed this life at birth, Friday, June 2, 2006 at the Davis Memorial Hospital.
Also surviving are two brothers, Joseph Benjamin “Joey” Backus and Noah Philip Backus, both at home, his paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Bernice Lowry Backus, Elkins, his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Idia San Martin Silvester, Elkins, his paternal great grandmother, Mary Christine Lowry, Hinton, and his maternal great grandmother, Carmen Barra San Martin, Chile, South America.
Preceding him in death are his paternal great grandparents, Thomas G. Lowry and Romeo and Gertrude Backus and his maternal great grandparents, Jose Rumilio San Martin and Romeo and Marie Silvester.
