| | | MARTHA E. BOGDONOVICH ALTIERI, age 90 years, a former resident of South Henry Avenue, Elkins, West Virginia and for the last two and a half years a resident of the Elkins Regional Convalescent Center, departed this life Wednesday evening, April 13, 2005 at the Center. She had been in declining health.
She was born Thursday, May 28, 1914 at Davis, West Virginia, a daughter of the late John Bogdonovich and Anna Bulic Bogdonovich. On April 3, 1948, she was married to Patsy L. Altieri, who preceded her in death on August 1, 2000.
Surviving is one son, John Altieri and wife, Martha, San Juan Capistrano, California and one sister, Mary Bogdonovich, Elkins.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband was one brother, John Bogdonovich and one sister, Anna Bogdonovich.
She was a graduate of Davis High School and Fairmont Business College. She was a member of Saint Brendan Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday. On Tuesday, at 7 PM, at the funeral home, a prayer service will be recited by Sister Teresa Reddington. On Wednesday morning, April 20, 2005, Mrs. Altieri will be moved to the Saint Brendan Catholic Church, where the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. The Reverend Father William Anderson will be the Presider and interment will follow at the Saint Brendan Cemetery at Elkins, West Virginia.
