SUSIE ELIZABETH ARBOGAST, age 88 years, a former resident of Gilman, West Virginia and currently a resident of Severn, Maryland, departed this life on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at the North Arundel Hospital in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Death was unexpected.
She was born Wednesday, September 8, 1915, at Gilman, West Virginia a daughter of the late James Sylvester Williams and Mary Elizabeth Cochran Williams. On June 8, 1938, she was married to Charles L. Arbogast who preceded her in death in 2003. Surviving are one son, Charles L. Arbogast, Jr. and his wife Barbara Jean, Glen Burnie, Maryland, three daughters, Carolyn Sue Parsons and her husband Arden L.,Sr., Severn, Maryland, Penny Upton and her husband Jack, Pasadena, Maryland, and Brenda Bloomquist, Linthicum, Maryland, one sister Betty L. Robey, Elkins, West Virginia, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents, are two grandchildren, Tracy Lee Parsons and Michael Todd Arbogast, one brother, Virgil Earl Williams,and two sisters, Melinda Shaffer and Iva Bell Louk.
Susie attended the schools of Randolph County, was a former seamstress and had retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Baltimore, Maryland on May 1, 1981, and was a member of Grace Cathedral in Akron/Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
