| | | PATRICIA ANN BALL, age 34 years, a resident of Elkins departed this life early Monday morning, March 3, 2008 at her home. She had been in her usual health and death was unexpected.
She was born Tuesday, June 12, 1973 at Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Maynard Ball and Linda Cobb Ball, who survives.
She was raised by Bonnie and Eugene Riffe since age fourteen. Surviving are three sisters, Mary Alice Weese and husband, David, Marsha Ann Lester and husband, Dennis, and Melisa Jackson, all of Elkins, two grandmothers, Mary Alice Howell, Elkins, and Edna Harlan, Norton, one aunt, Debbie Jones, Elkins, two uncles, David Jackson, Norton and Kenneth Howell, Elkins, one niece, Alayna Lester, one nephew, David Eugene Green, and several cousins.
She was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1993, was a member of the Harmony Worship Center at Elkins, was an avid NASCAR enthusiast, and she loved animals, scary movies, and coffee. Patty was loved by everybody who knew her, and she will be sadly missed.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins on Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM. Final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 1:30 PM. Pastor Larry Poling will officiate and interment will follow at Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman.
