| | | PEGGY JOANN GUIRE ARBOGAST, age 64 years, a resident of Montrose, WV departed this life late Saturday evening, February 16, 2008 at her home.
She was born Saturday, February 27, 1943 at Elkins, WV a daughter of the late Alex A. Guire. She was twice married. First to Thomas Rosier, who preceded her in death. Second to Ronald D. Arbogast who survives. Also surviving is one son, Robert W. Guire and wife Norma, Berwick, PA; one daughter, Tammy J. Gibson and husband Wesley, Elkins; one brother, Jerry Lee Guire, Chester; four grandchildren, Timmy Lee Ward; Jeremy Gale Ward; Robert W. Fowler; and Kerry M. Guire.
Preceding her in death are one son, Dana Lee Guire and one sister, Barbara J. Fox.
Peggy was a graduate of Coalton High School, had worked for the former Reidboard Brothers and Colonial Mill Works and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Aerie # 2344, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, where she had served as a trustee. She enjoyed bowling, woodworking, yard work, dancing and making crafts with beads.
Mrs. Arbogast’s request for cremation was honored. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 7 PM with the Reverend Robert L. Baer officiating. The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contribution in memory of Peggy to Tammy J. Gibson, 105 Summer Street, Elkins, WV 26241.
