| | | HERBERT DALE ARBOGAST, age 81 years, a resident of Valley Bend, WV departed this life early Tuesday morning, October 30, 2007 at his home.
He was born Sunday, October 3, 1926 at Elkins, WV a son of the late John Herbert Arbogast and Cleo M. Ferguson Arbogast. He was married to the former Linda Lou Rexrode Arbogast, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Karl Herbert Arbogast, Boone, NC; John “Kramer” Arbogast, Southaven, MS; one daughter, Karen E. Arbogast, Valley Bend; one brother, Clifford G. Arbogast, Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Betty Seiber, Springfield, VA; Patty Levey, Tampa, FL and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are one brother, Jesse L. Arbogast and one sister, Penny Eskridge.
Herbert had attended Elkins High School, was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II and worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation at Baltimore, MD retiring in 1979. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins on Friday, November 2, 2007 from 6 until 8 PM, after which his request for cremation will then be honored.
