| | | Mary Catherine “Kitty” Morgan Edwards, 83, died Friday, October 9, 2009 at Rex Healthcare. Kitty was born July 3, 1926 in Benson, NC to the late Joseph Henry Morgan and Vida Ethel Allen Morgan. She retired from N.C. State Government where she worked in various departments.
Graveside Service: 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Raleigh Memorial Park,7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612 with Reverend Stan Edwards officiating.
Surviving:
Brother: J. E. Morgan of Wilmington
Sons: Mark Edwards and wife, Jan of Raleigh
Stan Edwards and wife, Melia of Knightdale
Grandchildren: Lindsey, Jonathan and Grant Edwards of Knightdale
In addition to her parents, Kitty was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Freeman Edwards.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:30 pm, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
