Patricia R. Kinner 53 of Dunkirk died Tuesday January 17, 2006 of natural causes in her home following a brief illness.
She was born July 17, 1952 in Albany, NY the daughter of Raymond and
Lenore (Cornell) Butterworth. She attended Bethlehem Central Schools where she graduated from Bethlehem High School.
She worked for Buffalo Greater Press for 12 years until its closing, Barnes Greenhouse and was an Independent Owner/Operator of Butterworth Trucking in Dunkirk where she eventually retired due to ill health.
Patricia enjoyed the outdoors and liked to hike, hunt, was an avid gardener and was especially fond of the water as she lived on the lakefront. Patricia was experienced and very knowledgeable with horses, as she loved to ride, raise, train and show them. She won numerous awards and ribbons due to her love and dedication to the sport. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA).
Her mother Madeline Butterworth of Feura Bush, NY, daughters Jennifer (Al) Schaller-Dominguez of S. Dayton, NY, Renae Kinner of Dunkirk, and Rebecca Kinner of Dunkirk, 2 grand daughters Brianna Solares of S. Dayton, Gracie Dominguez of S. Dayton and a grandson Ethan (E.J.) Dominguez of S. Dayton, survives her. 4 brothers Raymond Butterworth of Saratoga, NY, Douglas McKie of Albany, NY, Thomas McKie of Feura Bush, James Butterworth of Albany, several nieces and nephews and her companion William (Willie) Narraway with whom Patricia made her home with and his children Kia Narraway of Las Vegas NV and David Narraway of Dunkirk also survive.
Her father and maternal mother predeceased her.
A memorial service will be held on Friday January 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Forest Hill Cemetery Fredonia, NY. Pastor Paul Wilson of Dunkirk Baptist Church will officiate. Directly following internment there will be a memorial luncheon at the Columbus Club on 406 Deer Street in Dunkirk. There will be no prior visitation.
